Clinical Staff Educator – Surgery
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Staff Educator – Surgery to provide education, training, and professional development for surgical and perioperative staff while promoting safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver clinical education and training for surgical staff.
- Orient and support new employees in perioperative practices.
- Evaluate staff competency and provide ongoing education.
- Educate staff on surgical procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Monitor compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
- Identify educational needs and develop improvement plans.
- Collaborate with surgical leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain training records and educational documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required.
- BSN or higher preferred.
- Previous Operating Room/Perioperative nursing experience required.
- Clinical education or staff development experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient safety, and infection prevention.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
Pay Rate
$77.24 - $82.11/hour
