Laboratory / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform accurate laboratory testing and support physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing on blood, urine, tissue, and other clinical specimens.
- Prepare, process, and analyze specimens using laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Review and verify test results for accuracy and report critical or abnormal findings.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow quality control, safety, infection control, and laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Troubleshoot testing issues and equipment problems as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Active state license as required by state regulations.
- ASCP/MLS or equivalent certification preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and specimen processing.
- Previous clinical laboratory or hospital laboratory experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
