Clinical Laboratory Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations by handling patient specimens, maintaining supplies, and assisting laboratory staff with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, collect, and process patient specimens.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient and specimen information.
- Assist laboratory staff with routine testing and procedures.
- Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and work areas.
- Identify and report specimen discrepancies or issues.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Laboratory Assistant or related training preferred.
- Previous clinical laboratory, healthcare, or specimen-processing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$37.60 - $42.48/hour
