Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics to provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer treatments and immunizations, educate families, and collaborate with providers to ensure exceptional pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document clinical findings
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered by providers
- Monitor patient conditions and assist with minor procedures and examinations
- Educate patients and families on medications, disease management, preventive care, and healthy development
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Triage patient phone calls and assist with scheduling follow-up care as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and clinic policies
- Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment for daily operations
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric clinic environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric or outpatient clinic nursing experience preferred
- Strong pediatric assessment, communication, and patient education skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
