Clinic RN – Gastroenterology
Provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving evaluation and treatment for gastrointestinal conditions. The Gastroenterology Clinic RN will assess patients, coordinate care, assist with procedures, provide education, and support physicians in delivering high-quality outpatient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and review medical histories.
- Assist with gastrointestinal procedures and clinical examinations.
- Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patients before and after procedures and report changes in condition.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, procedures, and disease management.
- Communicate test results and follow-up instructions as directed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous gastroenterology or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent patient education and care-coordination abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Pay Rate
$59.71 - $64.58/hour
