Certified Surgical Technologist – OR/First Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist/First Assistant to support surgeons during operative procedures and provide safe, efficient perioperative care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, suturing, and other first-assist duties.
- Pass instruments and supplies and anticipate the surgical team's needs.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical site preparation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and OR protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active CST certification required; CSFA/SA certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR procedures.
- Previous Surgical Technologist/First Assistant experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
