Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations through accurate prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy workflow, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations while delivering high-quality patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry for new and refill prescriptions
• Answer incoming phone calls and receive verbal prescriptions from providers
• Prepare, pull, and fill prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with medication compounding as required
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management
• Provide customer service support, including point-of-sale transactions when needed
• Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure timely and safe medication dispensing
• Assist with general pharmacy workflow and operational needs

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 0–1 year of customer service or pharmacy-related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medication dispensing and prescription filling processes preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology, drug classifications, and pharmaceutical calculations preferred
• Knowledge of inventory management and compounding practices preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
