Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and help patients improve functional independence and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living, mobility, coordination, strength, and functional skills.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe activities.
Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.
Complete accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current COTA certification and state licensure/registration as applicable.
Current BLS certification.
Previous clinical, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$45.08 - $49.96/hour
