Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and help patients improve functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living and functional skills.
- Assist patients with mobility, coordination, strength, and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current COTA certification and state licensure/registration as required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$41.28 - $46.16/hour
