Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, helping patients improve functional abilities and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living and functional skills.
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility, coordination, and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current COTA certification and state license/registration as required.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$41.28 - $46.16/hour
