Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to assist in providing rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will implement treatment plans, support patients in improving daily living skills, and promote functional independence.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living, mobility, and functional skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$43.56 - $48.44/hour
