Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in achieving greater independence and quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist in carrying out treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic activities, and documenting progress to promote functional recovery.
Responsibilities:

Implement therapy programs and activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.

Instruct and assist patients with exercises and daily living tasks to improve mobility and function.

Monitor and record patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising therapist.

Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and therapy materials.

Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs.

Encourage patient participation and ensure safety throughout therapy sessions.

Collaborate with the therapy team to provide coordinated and effective care.
Qualifications:

Current certification or licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation or occupational therapy setting preferred.

Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and patient care principles.

Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively within a therapy team.
Pay Rate
$41.28 - $46.16/hour
