Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography (Cath Lab RN)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Angiography Lab. The Cath Lab RN will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, moderate sedation, and contrast agents as prescribed.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedural records.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Previous Cath Lab, Angiography, Interventional Radiology, ICU, or Emergency Department experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$90.96 - $95.83/hour
