Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Life Imaging Technologist to perform advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions. The technologist will operate specialized imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to provide high-quality diagnostic services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures.
  • Operate cardiac imaging equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any changes in condition.
  • Review images for quality and completeness prior to physician interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), RIS, and PACS.
  • Perform routine equipment quality control and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, radiation safety standards (where applicable), HIPAA regulations, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiovascular Technology, or Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active state licensure where required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Relevant certification based on imaging modality (ARRT, ARDMS, CCI, or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac imaging experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, imaging protocols, and patient monitoring.
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Pay Rate
$83.33 - $88.21/hour
