Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Surgery
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to patients before and after cardiac surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to cardiac surgery patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
- Monitor for complications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing, post-operative care, cardiac monitoring, and critical care.
- Previous cardiac surgery, cardiovascular, ICU, or step-down experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$77.24 - $82.11/hour
