Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. The Cath Lab RN will assist physicians during procedures, monitor patient status, and ensure safe and effective care before, during, and after cardiac interventions.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and conscious sedation as prescribed.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and complications.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and hemodynamics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Previous Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$81.81 - $86.69/hour
