Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Technologist to assist physicians and the cardiac catheterization team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cardiac cath lab, instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Scrub and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Pass catheters, guidewires, instruments, and other supplies as needed.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and supply counts.
- Monitor and maintain sterile equipment and procedural supplies.
- Assist with emergency procedures and maintain readiness for urgent cases.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related program preferred.
- CST, RCIS, or equivalent certification preferred/required based on role.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, sterile technique, and cardiovascular equipment.
- Previous Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiology, or Surgical Technologist experience preferred
Pay Rate
$83.33 - $88.21/hour
