Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health RN to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with mental health and behavioral conditions.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients’ mental and physical health.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient behavior and identify changes in condition.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Respond appropriately to behavioral or psychiatric emergencies.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients and families on treatment and care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Active RN license as required by state regulations.
Current BLS certification required.
Previous behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Strong behavioral health assessment skills.
Excellent therapeutic communication and de-escalation skills.
Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatments.
Strong crisis-management and conflict-resolution skills.
Compassionate, patient, and nonjudgmental approach.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and patient safety.
Strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
