CT/X-Ray Technologist

Position Summary

We are seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography and radiographic equipment. The technologist will produce high-quality images, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and routine X-ray examinations as ordered.
Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
Operate CT and radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate techniques.
Administer contrast media as permitted and monitor patients for reactions.
Review images for quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT certification or eligibility, as applicable.
Current state radiologic technologist license, as required.
CT certification or advanced CT training preferred/required based on role requirements.
Previous CT and X-ray experience preferred.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Pay Rate
$70,720.00 - $118,560.00/year
