Adolescent Psych RN
Position Summary
We are seeking an Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adolescent patients with behavioral health and mental health needs. The RN will monitor patients, administer medications, support treatment plans, and collaborate with the behavioral health team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ physical and behavioral health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for changes in mood, behavior, and clinical condition.
- Support individualized psychiatric treatment and care plans.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and behavioral health standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous psychiatric, behavioral health, or adolescent care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adolescents.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and behavioral health practices preferred.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
