Activities Coordinator
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Coordinator to plan and coordinate engaging activities that promote social interaction, well-being, and quality of life for patients or residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
Develop activities based on participants’ interests, abilities, and needs.
Organize group and individual activities and maintain activity calendars.
Encourage participation and create a positive, inclusive environment.
Coordinate with staff, families, and community resources to support activities.
Maintain accurate activity records and evaluate participation and outcomes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, senior care, healthcare, or a similar setting preferred.
Strong communication, organization, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$61.23 - $66.11/hour
