Job Title: Med/Surg LPN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions. The LPN will administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, and support the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with wound care and other nursing procedures.
- Support patients with daily care needs.
- Document medications, treatments, and patient information accurately.
- Report changes in patient condition to the RN or healthcare provider.
- Educate patients and families on care instructions.
- Follow infection control and patient safety procedures.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic nursing care, medications, and patient safety.
- BLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$26.17 - $31.05/hour
